Bob Colacello was born and raised in New York and is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Foregin Service (1969), and Columbia University Graduate School of the Arts (1971). Prior to graduating, he was hired to run Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine. Mr. Colacello held the position for thirteen years and became one of the artist’s closest creative collaborators. His memoir of that period, Holy Terror: Andy Warhol Up Close, has been widely acclaimed as the best book on the Pope of Pop, and a book of his columns from the magazine, Bob Colacello’s OUT, was published in 2007. Following his time with Interview, Colacello was under exclusive contract to Vanity Fair, writing investigative pieces on cultural, socials and political subjects. In 2017, he curated his first show at the Vito Schnabel Gallery in St. Moritz Switzerland and has since curated exhibitions in New York and around the globe.
