Michael Stephen Johnson is a writer and strategist for brands in aviation, tech, and gaming. He is a regular contributor at Bombardier’s Experience Magazine, profiling new products and brand ambassadors like Niki Lauda and Sammy Hagar. When he isn’t writing, Michael works as the Director of Strategy at Alice & Smith, a full-stack entertainment agency whose clients include Microsoft, Fremantle, and the NBA.
Guillaume Plisson, the son of legendary photographer Philip Plisson, grew up in Brittany, France, and could sail by the age of seven. At twelve, after his grandmother gifted him an Ultra-fex camera, he started shooting yachts on a local river, a hobby that would soon turn into a career. Now one of the world’s most widely renowned maritime and yacht photographers, Plisson has been commissioned to capture iconic super-yachts by designers like Philippe Stark and Espen Oeino. His work for Bombardier, who commissioned the famed photographer for a broad-ranging suite of evocative imagery featuring Bombardier aircraft and people, represents his first foray into the world of aviation. Plisson regularly covers the biggest international nautical events—America’s Cup, The Voiles de Saint-Tropez—for magazines including Paris Match and Le Figaro. His work has appeared in publications such as Forbes, Robb Report, the Financial Times, GQ, and Vogue. He is the co-author of Queen Mary 2: The Birth of a Legend (2004) and Lighthouses of Europe (2001).

THE ART OF LUXURY BOOKMAKING
Since its beginnings in 1994, Assouline has been dedicated to creating books that are as informational as they are beautiful works of art. The respect for the product and the process of creation is evident in every facet – the traditional technique of hand-binding covers, the imagery that transports the reader to another place and time, the luxurious thickness of each page.
A BOOKSTAND
Coupling an effortless assembly with the ability to showcase every collection from Icons to Ultimates, the Assouline A Bookstand is as elegant as the titles it holds. Designed by Alex Assouline, the luxe stand, with an engraved Assouline A logo centered on both panels, comes in black, red, or clear acrylic.
